An educational evaluation, or transition assessment, serves as the basis for planning high-school students' post-school outcomes. Transition assessment services identify a student's unique needs, strengths, preferences, interests, and post-school goals and then determine how best to meet those goals through planning instructional programming in high school; identifying potential living, working, and educational environments; and identifying programs, services, supports, and resources.
Christopher Skerritt, CRC, CVE, coordinates our transition assessment services, which incorporate techniques from career education, vocational rehabilitation, and curriculum-based evaluation to identify what a student's post-secondary living, social, learning, and vocational goals may look like and determine the student's related strengths and needs.
Based on the individual needs of the student, transition assessment services may include, among others:
"Thank you so much for your outstanding work on my case. I'm happy to say that the case settled." — Litigant comment
"Thank you very much for your excellent testimony at trial, which was a big factor in our ultimate success in winning a verdict. I'm sure that the jury found your testimony to be very credible and to successfully counter that of the [opposing] expert in your field." — Litigant comment
